AEC has been entrusted to monitor the implementation of the Timisoara Cleaner Production Project (TCCP) on behalf of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and in cooperation with the City of Timisoara, Romania. This monitoring work includes the supervision of the consulting company which won the tender to implement the TCCP, as well as advice aimed at ensuring successful project implementation. The TCPP will elaborate Cleaner Production Assessments in 15 companies (focus on textile and food industries) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) in 2 companies located in the city of Timisoara and surroundings. In addition, the TCCP will elaborate Cleaner Production options for the Timisoara County hospital and “Casa Austria”, a medical centre attached to the Timisoara County hospital.
