Project: Elaboration of options for financing the EIA process and related environmental investments in Mali (2006).
AEC provided a Senior Environmental Finance Expert and Team Leader for this USAID funded project aimed at developing a financing mechanism to support implementation of the Environmental Impact Assessment process and related environmental investments. Included a review of lessons learned at relevant funding mechanisms in other transition/developing countries, fact-finding/study mission to Mali and recommendations for designing, establishing and operating a new funding mechanism.
