Worldwide website for environmental financing institutions
Supported by ADA, ÆC has launched a new internet website that provides detailed information on environmental financing mechanisms. In its first phase of development, the website features information on eco-finance institutions in selected countries, with South East Europe being the initial focus. Over time the website will expand its coverage to include other countries/regions and information on mechanisms for financing specific types of investments (e.g., environmental infrastructure, eco-technology, biodiversity, energy efficiency, sustainable agriculture, etc.). ÆC is actively seeking support to expand the website and welcomes the cooperation of interested parties. See www.eco-finance.org.
Project cycle management software
ÆC has designed project cycle management software that can be used by environmental financing institutions, such as Environmental Funds, Water Funds, other sectoral environmental financing mechanisms, debt-environment swaps, etc. The software rationalizes work flows in managing the entire project cycle (including: project application process, eligibility assessment, project appraisal and selection, contracting, project implementation, project monitoring and evaluation).
Website on the Environment for Europe process
Supported by FOEN, ÆC has launched a website on the "Environment for Europe" process. The website provides up to date information on all important aspects of this process. See www.environmentforeurope.org.
