Project evaluation
ÆC was retained by Seco and UNIDO to lead an in-depth evaluation of the Vietnam National Cleaner Production Centre project. The evaluation included the following aspects of the Centre’s operations: demand for the Centre’s services, relevance of the Centre, efficiency and effectiveness of the Centre’s operations, impact and sustainability of the Centre’s operations. (2003)
Evaluations of institutions
ÆC's Principals have led, or played key roles in, evaluating several environmental funds, including national funds in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Poland and Slovenia and a provincial fund in Russia. By assessing the funds against internationally accepted standards of good practice the evaluations have led to recommendations for improving performance and effectiveness. ÆC's Principals have also assessed operations and strategic development of the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe for the Swiss Government. The resulting report contributed to making a decision on future levels of Swiss support to the Centre, and on whether the Swiss Government should apply for a position in the Center's Board of Directors.
